Require the first appointment to be a Parent Session ONLY.

OCD Clients:

An initial 80 minute assessment session is required prior to scheduling a 50 minute session. If the session is for a child, the parent and child may attend the session together.

Hypnotherapy Clients:

An initial assessment session is required

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

Krupa has more than 8 years of counselling experience working with children, families and adults providing individual and group therapy in a variety of settings. She graduated with a Masters in Forensic Psychology from the University of Kent and obtained her Bachelors of Social Science (Hons) from Rhodes University. Her additional training includes Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), Sensory Interventions, Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Early Psychosis Intervention. Through her work as a Behavioral Therapist and an Assistant Psychologist, she gained additional expertise in the field of autism and ADHD, including providing play therapy and offering parent consultations and support. Krupa is committed to helping individuals live a rich, full and meaningful life through equipping them with psychological tools to manage life challenges. She acknowledges that getting started with therapy can be challenging and is committed to walking along side individuals, one step at a time, providing a safe and non-judgemental space where they are heard, listened to, and empowered. Interventions are drawn from evidence-based approaches and are tailored to accommodate the needs of the individuals, families and children. Jowita obtained her undergraduate degree in psychology at Kwantlen Polytechnic University and completed her Master of Counselling Psychology at Athabasca University. Jowita is also a certified clinical hypnotherapist.

Jowita is passionate about helping others and strongly advocates for her clients. To date, all her research has been on complex trauma and complex post-traumatic stress disorder. She likes to move beyond the general scope of practice and guide her clients to self-discovery and healing. Jowita specializes in anxiety, depression, OCD, and complex trauma. Jowita believes in using an integrative approach, and the modalities she works from are CBT, DBT, ERP, IFS, MI, inner child work and hypnotherapy. Donna is an advanced practitioner with over 2 decades of experience in a variety of diverse settings.

With an educational background in Social Work and Psychology, she has gone on to obtain advanced training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). She also has advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (Anxiety & Trauma informed), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and dyadic modalities with parent and child such as Child Parent Relationship Training, Circle of Security, and Watch Wait and Wonder.
